Venture Steel Group’s bespoke angles can be fabricated from a 25-200mm leg, in gauges of steel from 0.38-6.00mm. Our steel can be supplied as galvanised, hot or cold rolled, to suit most applications and meet most standards; we further work with a range of steel grades from DX52, through to S350-S550 and many exotic structural types.
A steel angle, or steel angle bar, is one of the simplest formed profiles, which can be manufactured by a press brake or rolling mill. This may take the profile of a ‘V’, where the legs are of equal length, or an ‘L’, where one leg is longer than the other. For both the equal and unequal leg angles, the angle for a steel angle will be 90°. A steel angle will typically be made from a high strength steel which can provide structural support within a building or structure.

No, you cannot paint galvanised purlins as the paint will not adhere to the metal, so it will eventually shed, which can affect appearance due to the zinc coating that resists corrosion.
