Venture Steel Group undertakes a variety of onsite steel presswork to form a multitude of pressed products. Our continued investments into our power presses, press brakes, and CNC turret punches, has enabled Venture Steel Group to manufacture unrivalled precision pressed parts. The team at Venture Steel Group closely follows individual project specifications, as established by an ongoing communication with clients, to ensure our clients are satisfied with their products.
Presswork refers to a manufacturing method used to form sheet metal, undertaken on a press machine. A press machine utilises tooling to press sheet metal down onto a specially formed tool, manipulating the metal to assume the shape of the tooling. The tooling, therefore, must be modified or replaced when a change in profile is required. Once the metal is formed into its desired profile, the upper tooling is raised, and the metal can be replaced by a new sheet for a repeat process.
Venture Steel Group possesses both single operation and high speed presses, with the ability, equipment, and skill to produce more than five million pressed parts per month. We can provide bespoke tooling in-house, or alternatively use customers’ tooling for the production of bespoke pressed products. For this, our 25-175 tonne power presses are used.
With our expansive capacity, we seek to accommodate clients’ project timescales wherever possible; we put customers’ needs at the forefront of our operations, whether for one off product batches or for large units. These services provided by Venture Steel Group are available globally.
Venture Steel Group can press steel sheets up to 6mm for presswork operations.
Steel presswork is available for the manufacturing of a variety of products, such as:
- Steel cleats
- Steel scaffold board end bands
